 This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.valcline.com (the “Site”).

Personal information I collect

Device Information

When you visit the Site (A Squarespace Website), I (in this case Squarespace & Google Analytics) will automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, I collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. This information is automatically displayed in all Squarespace websites and in Google Analytics when used.

How do I use your personal information?

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site I collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Purchases

When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, I collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number.  I refer to this information as “Order Information.”

When I talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, I am talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

When you purchase something from this website I use the Order Information that I collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping when necessary, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).

How long I retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so I can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), I also store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information I hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.
